TRIP TO CANNON BEACH AND SEASIDE TO SEE FAMILY

Randy's daughter, Sarah, and his 6 year-old granddaughter, Aevyn, were here from Manhattan New York for a few days so we were able to go get together with them. Fortunately the weather was pretty nice, a little breezy, and we were able to enjoy the beach. It was a first for Aevyn and she seemed entranced by it all. She also gathered quite a few seashells, mostly sand dollars. We did take a few photos and here they are. We were there from March 28th through March 31st.

We stayed at the Hallmark in there in Cannon Beach and the Haystack Rock was just outside our window! We even saw 2 eagles on the beach below our balcony! Wow! Only got shots of one.
We also had great views at sunsets.
And one sunset I caught a shot of a kite flying.
It was so great to relax and chat and spend time together.
Enjoy the photos!

THANKSGIVING IN NEWPORT, OREGON NOV 26-29 2025--PART THREE

Here is the 3rd and final post on our trip to Newport for Thanksgiving.

They had a very unique and wonderful art exhibit there created from trash removed from the beaches and ocean.  Makes you more aware of how we affect this world.

We need to be better caretakers.

Randy being silly!
This one is THE WAVE.
RANDY BEING A PENGUIN.
Interesting exhibit, don't you think?
I hope you enjoyed them as much as we did!

THANKSGIVING IN NEWPORT, OREGON NOV 26-29 2025--PART 2

We enjoyed the lights at the aquarium as well as visiting with some sea creatures!

Here are photos of that part of our adventure!

These little fishies lit up!
They had special lighting on the jellyfish tank that made this one look pink!
The last photo was a fish very efficient at camouflage.
Enjoy the fish photos!
Next post and final one will show the art exhibit we saw there. It was very interesting.
