ANOTHER COAST TRIP TO SEE FAMILY

 August 30th through Sept. 1st 2026 Randy and I met up with family at Seaside, O. Randy's daughter, Sarah, and granddaughter, Aevyn, were out again from New York for a short visit and we were able to meet up! Always fun to see them! We took a few photos to remember our time there. 

I am always in awe of the beautiful flower baskets hanging everywhere there!

I loved this crow fountain!

We could see Terrible Tilly from our room. And viewed lots of pelicans!

We saw many seagulls. I loved this gutter drain on one building! 

I think it may represent a sandhill crane.

I loved this sculpture on top of a fireplace! so unique!!

A few photos of our room after we settled in. The windows looked out on the ocean and to the right of the bankette was a door to the private deck and access to the beach.

We did the family photos together!

We also visited the Candy Kitchen and, of course, bought taffy!

Most of the time was spent talking and visiting and shopping.

Always grand to get together!

AN ADVENTURE TO McMINNVILLE

July 19th 2026 Randy and I headed off to an Art Festival in McMinnville, OR.

I had seen the information about it on Facebook events and it looked very interesting.

We were both very surprised and enjoyed it so much!

I really enjoyed the creative people we met and talked to.

The man Randy is speaking to in the above photo created his art using sheets of copper

and different types of acid! Randy asked a lot of question.
