OUR TRIP TO THE REDWOODS: PART 3

PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS IN SECTION BELOW EACH POST!

I know, I know...I take too many pictures! Believe it or not, I am not even posting them all!

I have a link to my old blog on the right sidebar, if any interest of the years of posts!

Continuing our trip, here are more photographs in the Redwoods!!

This large hollow tree is still growing and you can see how tiny we look inside!
We saw elk in the redwoods area!
Information boards at the redwoods.
The Redwoods are magnificent! Makes you feel so small!
On our way home we stopped to see a new place--Crissey Field State Recreation Site.
At one time there had been an airfield there.
Now there is fun!
I loved the whale designs on the windows.
In Florence we explored a little park that had art sculptures and enjoyed our little walk there.
This was the last night staying in Florence before heading home.
Our 7 day trip was fun and relaxing!  We had a good time and were able to forget about our troubled country for a while!

  1. It looks like you had a really wonderful time, Rose. I am so glad you are feeling well enough to go for a get-away! Those trees are amazing, aren't they? Standing next to them makes you feel so small-to me it's like being by the ocean and knowing I am just a speck there. xo Diana
