After we left Leavenworth and headed home, we decided to stop at Maryhill Museum in Goldendale, WA.
We had visited there a while back and decided to stop in again. For a small museum it has so much to see!
Enjoy the photographs!
This lady met us outside the doors and had a moment with Randy.

One area features a large collection of artistic chess sets from special artists, some from other countries.

The Native American exhibits are my favorite and they had some new items displayed!
I love the statement when we enter here.

The doll with all the children is a storyteller doll. Made me think of my fellow writers in my women writers group, Chrysalis.

As we drove towards home along the gorge, this scene appeared before us and I just HAD to snap this photo. Perfect lighting and depth!

Here is another storyteller doll.
A few photos of other items I enjoyed.

As we headed out Randy had me pose by the door flag and with the sculptured heron in the garden.
Here is another sculpture on the patio overlooking the Columbia River. There are many sculptures scattered around the grounds. Not far down the road is their rendition of Stonehenge. As we drove towards home along the gorge, this scene appeared before us and I just HAD to snap this photo. Perfect lighting and depth!
I do hope you have enjoyed this last leg of our short trip!
