TRIP TO LEAVENWORTH, WASHINGTON---PART TWO

There is a little town near Leavenworth within 10 miles and it is called Cashmere.  It has a charming historic district, two large antique malls, fruit industry, a 9/11 Memorial, a museum and pioneer town, and the Aplets & Coplets factory. We visited the Cashmere Museum and Pioneer town, one antique mall, and the Aplets and Cotlets factory. I took plenty of photos. Had hoped to see the 9/11 memorial and some of the historic district but I had tired out.  We did enjoy what we got to see! Here are photos!

At Aplets & Cotlets you can take a tour and see how they are made. You can also buy all sorts of boxes for their product at a great price. Randy bought three!

Next we enjoyed the museum and pioneer town.
We were surprised at how nice their displays were, especially of the Native artifacts.
Next post will show our visit to Maryhill Museum on our way home. It is amazing!

  3. What a quaint little town. My mom loved those Aplets and Cotlets. I think my brother always bought a box for her for her birthday.
