Randy and I took a stroll through Schreiners Iris Gardens near Salem on Monday, May 25th. Right when we got inside, rain started to fall. We decided to continue on and enjoy the day. We did not let it defeat us! There were a few crafters there so we enjoyed seeing their creations. I enjoyed taking photos of the various parts of the garden and it was a nice change having raindrops on the various plants and blooms. I am posting photos here for you to enjoy and maybe be inspired to take a trip to the garden!

Gorgeous pictures! I think rain added an interesting aspect!
ReplyDeleteIt has to be wonderful to live in a state that has so many gorgeous flowers of all varieties!
ReplyDeleteIt is! There are many display gardens: Hosta garden, Dahlia garden, Iris garden, Hydrangea garden, Rose gardens, rhdendron garden, and many more!
DeleteIrises make me think of party dresses. Especially the sort one would wear on “Dancing with the Stars." Roxie
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous garden walk. I think with the raindrops on the blooms the pictures are even more spectacular. Some of those would be wonderful printed and framed! WOW! Diana
